Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 July 2026 · Effective: 22 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how EdgeX11 (“EdgeX11”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit edgex11.com (the “Site”) or contact us through it.
The short version
We collect only what you send us through the contact form and, if you accept cookies, anonymized analytics about how the Site is used. We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not use anything you send us to train AI models. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing admin@edgex11.com.
1. Scope
This policy covers the EdgeX11 marketing website only. The EdgeX11 product console at console.edgex11.com is governed by the separate agreement that applies to your account, together with any data processing agreement we have signed with your organization. Where we process customer content inside the product, we do so as a processor on your organization’s instructions; on this Site, we act as a controller.
2. Who is responsible for your data
EdgeX11 is the controller for personal information collected through this Site. You can reach us about anything in this policy at admin@edgex11.com.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, work email, and — if you choose to provide them — your company, role, team size, topic, and the content of your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever the message contains.
Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or special-category information (such as health, biometric, financial account, or government identifier data) through the form or by email. We do not ask for it and we do not want it.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used: pages viewed, referring source, approximate region derived from a truncated IP address, and general device and browser type. We have IP anonymization enabled. We do not use advertising features, remarketing, or cross-site tracking signals.
Our hosting provider also processes standard technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) to serve pages and protect the Site from abuse. This is necessary to operate a website at all.
3.3 What we do not collect
We do not use advertising networks or data brokers, we do not fingerprint devices, we do not buy personal information about you from third parties, and we do not build behavioural profiles for marketing.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site sets no non-essential cookies until you accept them through our
cookie banner. If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party analytics cookies (for example
_ga and _ga_*) to measure usage. Your consent choice itself is stored
locally in your browser so we do not have to ask again.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing site data in your browser. Declining means no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. The Site works fully either way.
5. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about EdgeX11.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site and understand how it is used.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, spam, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not use information you submit through this Site to train AI models, and we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Consent — analytics cookies, and any marketing email you opt into. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — replying to enquiries you send us, keeping the Site secure and available, and understanding aggregate usage. We have assessed that these do not override your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.
7. Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract, and only for the purposes below. The current list of providers involved in running the Site and the product is maintained on our security page.
- Web3Forms — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement, only with your consent.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and content delivery for the Site.
- Email provider — receiving and storing the messages you send us.
We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or lawful request from a public authority, or where necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of our users. If EdgeX11 is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will give notice before it becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries whose data protection laws differ from those where you live. Where personal information is transferred out of the UK, EEA, or another jurisdiction with transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with the providers’ own certifications where applicable. You may request further detail from us.
9. How long we keep it
- Contact form submissions and email correspondence — up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we need them longer to establish or defend a legal claim.
- Analytics data — retained according to our Google Analytics configuration, and in aggregate, non-identifying form thereafter.
- Consent records — kept as long as needed to demonstrate that consent was given.
When a retention period ends we delete or irreversibly anonymize the information.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your information;
- restrict or object to how we process it, including objecting to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted without an opt-out. You have rights to know, delete, correct, and to opt out, and you may use an authorized agent.
To exercise any right, email admin@edgex11.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law — ordinarily within 30 days, and within 45 days for requests under California law — and we may need to verify your identity first. If you are in the UK or EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
11. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you on this Site that produce legal or similarly significant effects using solely automated processing, and we do not profile visitors for that purpose.
12. Security
The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS with HSTS, a strict Content Security Policy, clickjacking and MIME-sniffing protection, and a restrictive referrer policy. It is static, so there is no server-side application to compromise, and it runs on SOC 2- and ISO 27001-certified AWS infrastructure. Our wider security posture is described on the security page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and any relevant authority of a breach where the law requires it.
13. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party services, including our profiles on LinkedIn and X. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; their own policies apply once you leave edgex11.com.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version. If we make a material change, we will make it prominent on the Site, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent again.
16. Contact
Questions about this policy, or want to exercise a right? Email admin@edgex11.com and a human will reply.
